20 oz., stainless steel vacuum insulated mug
I love this mug because it represents our city and it has the lucky few arrows. This was one of our first designs we came up with before a DSDN retreat. For those that don’t know the KC stands for Kansas CIty, which is the area where we all live.

This design represents the extra chromosome that people with down syndrome have. Our local down syndrome guild uses the +1 in a lot of their designs.

We love this wine mug because it makes a great gift for therapist and teachers. I noticed that when Lillyans therapist referred to their other clients or students they always called them their friends. For Christmas this year I gave each one of her therapist a mug or wine glass with their favorite beverage! They were a hit!!

Going to an IEP meeting is stressful. While the testing and the norms are important to know where you are and where you are headed next - but hearing “a typically developing child...” or “typically we would expect...” is a statement to that still cuts. Our first meeting, I took the “my child is everything but typical” mug and - just when I thought I was going to need to fight back tears - id grab the mug and hold tight to remind myself they were right - he isn’t typical. He’s everything but.
